 | The organization work with different universities, schools and civil society groups to promote culture of peace.

| ACTIONS: What activities have
been undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the ten years of the Decade? If you already made a

organization has organized a series of seminars and workshops for
promotion of culture of peace and non-violence. On regular basis there
are some ongoing programmes involving youth and children. The thrust is
on volunteer promotion and community building.(write ups attached)

large number of youth and children are expressing themselves thus
encouraging active citizenship for democratic participation.

 | One obstacle is sustainability of the programmes. There are problems in follow-ups and monitoring.

 | We
need to encourage and cultivate youth and children power to strengthen
the culture of peace and non-violence. Greater interconnectedness and
understanding of each others concerns is important to strengthen the
global peace movement.
